Juan Lara

He was born in Madrid in 1971 and develops a varied activity within the field of visual language ranging from printmaking and painting to illustration and graphic design. Het is, however, in the world of graphic art where he has most intensively worked and developed his artistic work. After some years of training in painting academies, he began working in the field of engraving as a collaborator in a workshop in the early 90s. This allows a practical and direct learning of the method and the different techniques in contact with the work and the presence of other artists to later establish their own engraving workshop.
